So I saw this picture of Chloe Sevigny yesterday and I knew at once that I was going to crook her look. I loved how she paired socks with her booties and I was inspired to do the same thing.
To me, Chloe is one of those stars who really is an actress but also is really someone who is genuinely into fashion. She doesn't just put on the clothes her stylist tells her to and she doesn't sit in the front row at fashion week for photo-ops. The woman has a Gucci shoe named after her, I mean, come on.
She's not afraid of risks and she gets a lot of flak for it, but I say more power to you! Part of being fashion-forward and fabulous means that not everyone will "get" it. Which is perfectly fine for me, because I do not dress to please the masses. I dress to please me - and maybe my husband.

4Wow, love it! Very daring, I think you wore this to work? When I taught, I was always concerned about what others thought about my style. I had a pair of pointy toe shoe and my students said they were witch shoes... other teachers always commented "wow, those are some pointy shoes!" It gets so annoying after a while, and maybe I was too sensitive. I say good for you for being fashion forward!!!
